You’ll need two pieces of software to run the VR X-Ray Simulator. The VR X-Ray Simulator to run the simulation on the pc/workstation and the Meta Quest Link application to connects the PC/workstation (1) to the VR headset (2) to display the simulation and get input from the controllers.
You need access rights on the PC/workstation before you can download and install the software.

NOTICE for IT admins: The VR X-Ray Simulator does not support multi-user PC/workstations. So, If you manage the PC/workstation using Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions, you need to set it up with a dedicated user profile.
The VR X-Ray Simulator is available in multiple languages and versions. Choose the newest version in your language.
NOTICE: During the download and installation process, your browser and PC may alert you about "uncertified software." To proceed, click on "Advanced" or "Read more," then accept the risk to continue with the installation.
Step 2: Download and install Meta Quest Link on the PC/workstation
This software enables the VR headset to connect to your PC/workstation and display the VR X-Ray Simulator in the VR headset.
Follow the setup and installation instructions. Login with your Meta account when prompted.
Step 3: Adjust the Meta Quest Link settings
Open Meta Quest Link, go to Settings > General, enable “Unknown Sources” and ensure that “OpenXR Runtime” is set to ”Set Meta Quest Link as act...”
